Poor mental condition has forced the Brazilian defender to stay back at Allian-Arena as Bayern
Munich travel to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Qatar-c2986 for winter break.
The former Sao http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paulo-c29431 player was recently released from prison on a condition that he will not leave the country until his treatment is finished.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. The player received minor burns and was immediately taken to hospital before being shifted to jail after necessary treatment.
The sweeper spent 12 days in prison before being released on bail upon the club’s request. Since then, the player has been undergoing psychotherapy and will not be allowed to leave Germany until his treatment finishes.
The prosecution spokesman, Thomas Steinkraus-Koch, added further on the matter:
"The reporting requirements have been eased slightly but Mr http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Borges-c7849 [Breno] cannot travel. The defence has the opportunity to appeal against this ruling."
Breno has not been a regular starter for the club since his arrival at the Allianz-Arena in 2008. He has made only 21 league appearances for Bayern and is currently in his third year in Germany. He was loaned out to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162
in 2010 but he managed only eight league appearances before returning to the Reds.
The Brazilian was strongly linked with a move to Hertha http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536 at the end of this season but it looks highly unlikely now.
Meanwhile, Bayern president Uli Hoeness has confirmed that the club will soon pay-off the remaining loan it took for the construction of Allianz-Arena and they will have additional 25 million Euros per season to spend on new players.
Bayern took a loan of 345 million Euros for the stadium construction and are looking set to pay off their arrears latest by 2016.
While talking to Bild, the president further mentioned:
"I think we will have paid for the Allianz Arena in five to six years maximum. And then Bayern would have approximately €25 million more per year available to invest in the team. Then, it would no longer be so easy for the Premier
League [clubs] to beat us.”
Allianz Arena is set to host the final of the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League.
