off once again as Andrea Caracciolo was played in by Panagiotis Kone in the 46th minute.
However, the Italian target man only managed to blast his shot over the bar from nearly 10 yards out as Inter survived an early scare. Inter entered the second half without any half time changes to their lineup. For Brescia, the first change to their starting
eleven came in the first half as Gaetano Berardi was replaced by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dejan-Stankovic-c10793 showed immense
defensive awareness as Caracciolo was marked all the way by the Inter Milan midfielder. In the end, the Serbian playmaker committed a perfect tackle on Brescia’s forward regaining possession of the ball for Inter Milan.
In the 52nd minute, it seemed as if Inter Milan were showing signs of frustrations as Maicon was booked by the referee for a late tackle on Kone, after the Brescia midfielder had disposed the Brazilian full back inside his own half of the field.
Inter were clearly shell shocked due to Brescia’s ambitious start to the second half as Leonardo’s team struggled to battle to keep hold of their dominance of the match. Nonetheless, a defensive mix-up between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonathan-Zebina-c19071 and Francesco Bega almost gifted
the second goal of the match to Inter Milan.
Zebina was caught in possession near his own penalty area by Maicon, who then cut the ball back towards Sneijder. However, Pandev intercepted the pass, which was actually intended for his own team mate and the Macedonian forward’s shot was well wide of the
mark as Brescia were let off the hook for some really careless defending.
In the 56th minute, Inter Milan regained their foothold in the match as Wesley Sneijder fired off a brilliant 25 yard strike towards Brescia’s goal. Arcari was left stranded due to the accuracy and the power in the ex-Ajax midfielder’s shot, but

by the referee as he kicked away the ball despite the offside flag by the linesman.
In the 61st minute, Brescia opted to make their second substitution of the match as Marco Zambelli was replaced by Eder for Giuseppe Iachini’s team. This was a tactical substitution by Brescia’s manager who took off a midfielder to bring on a
striker in order to help his team get a vital equalizer against the defensive strength of Inter Milan.
