Brett Favre! What is going to be the outcome of all of this?!

Question

So any football fan has to know about what is going on with Brett Favre (retirement, reinstatement, Packers drama, leaving training camp).

What do YOU think will happen at the end of all this?

>Of course this question can't remain open by the beginning of the football season, but I'll stretch it as long as Yahoo Answers allows. Then whoever's answer comes closest to what the future seems to hold for Favre at that point, gets the best answer.

well it looks like he will not be playing for the packers after the walk out today ! which is great, cos to be honest, im really hoping that he will be wearing the vikes purple ! could you i=magine that defense & the running game with a qb like farve, wow, the potential is just plain SICK !  i would liek to see teams try to stack nine guys in the box against against the vikes to stop all day ap with favre at the helm !

He will end up being traded but it'll be a totally unfair one. Whatever they try to get him for it won't suffice, because you're talking about a first ballot Hall of Famer here. I predict he'll end up going to a team like Tampa Bay, or if he was smart he'll make a move to either San Francisco or San Diego, they still run a West Coast style offense.

Ok...this is just what I THINK will happen.  Farve will become the Packers backup quarterback, there will be no trade allowed....with this Farve cannot move anywhere else...and cannot play (sitting on bench)....and will decide to go back into retirement.

Living in WI, and hearing all this stuff about the Packers (team I love), I think the Pack will stretch it out long enough that no team will want Brett nor will Brett have time to learn a new offense.

Favre deserves to be the starter for the green and gold though....I don't foresee that happening.

I don't know what will happen 1 month from now, but it's not hard to imagine what the Favre family will be doing for a living 5 years down the road.

He will either get traded to the Bucs or the Vikings. I dont see him playing for Green Bay, which is sad, and i dont see them just releasing him.

well, if he's going to say he's going to retire, retire already. Everyone's had enough, the packers make all these moves to buld around aaron rogers, and he decides to come back, well if he wants to go to another team, let him. he's been over rated these past couple of years anyway. I say he just needs to call it quits all together

He won't be in GB -both Mike and Brett feel there are too many feelings involved..so no try-out for the starting job.

So at this point it is a matter of where..the current talk is that Brett wants to talk to Tampa Bay. I think it would be too hard for Favre to be one state over than where he is.And if he went south he would be closer to home. Or a place to retire
