  1. I personally think that he will regret coming back.  The Jets suck.  Their O line is terrible - they have a poor running game and average receivers at best.  Add to that the fact that they play in the same division as the Pats and it spells disaster for Favre.  I'll be surprised if they win more than 6 games.

As far as the Packers go - they did what they had to do.  You can only bend over for someone (even if it is Brett Favre) so many times before you have to do what is best for business.  Brett retired early in the offseason and the Packers made their offseason moves with the knowledge that he was gone.  They drafted 2 qbs for pete's sake, which they would not have done with Favre returning.  They did what they had to do and I respect them for it.

  2. i think he's gonna fit in well and he'll do pretty good when he learns their offense and i don't think the packers treated him that good at all they kind of embarassed themselves if you ask me

  3. Brett Favre is Brett Favre(as Madden would say). You can't help but wish him well.

  4. I think he should have stayed retired.

  5. He should have left when he was a king

  6. Jets have improved their chance to strong team in the AFC.  Packers, from my point of view, had a player who was all but saying he would not play in Green Bay.  Remember, Manny in baseball?  Moss in Oakland?   It is likely to be a new trend to opt out of a contract to just refuse to play for a particular team.  Packers did not mistreat Favre.  Jets coaching staff better be ready to let "Brett be Brett."  He is 38 years of age.   He is not going to be a caretaker QB.  Like asking Magic Johnson to be a role player in basketball game.

  7. As a Packer fan, I'm mad. As a New Yorker, I'm glad he's a Jet. I think it's horrible what the Packer organization did to him.

  8. Well to be honest I never really cared what happened to Favre as far as his career, but I will say that he gets a better deal being in NY right now.  Think about this, NY will be a better team because of Favre because he brings leadership, and ability to perform well.  But what do the Packers have?  They don't have anything other than Rodgers, and if he does poorly, then they can hang their season up.  They should have never traded Favre because now they have 3 inexperienced QB's on their roster.  None of them have started a full season, and only one has started more than 1 game in his career.  I believe that the Packers did what they thought was right in the beginning by moving on, but when Brett came back, they should have let him compete for the job.  But now since he is gone, they will likely go through growing pains with Rodgers.  So ultimately I say that Favre wins, because he goes to a team that can potentially do well, but also, he gets a fresh start and gets to be in  a place where he has never been..

  9. yes he was a jet for a wile
