Brett Favre and the Packers?

For all those people who say they are happy that Favre is out, are you serious? Favre has like the packers since the early 90's and he is a hall of fame QB. Now, he retires and you guys are set on Rodgers. He comes back and some of you fans want brett out. You are seriously dumb if you where glad to see brett go. He was the face of the franchise since the early 90's, he is one of the greatest QB's off all time. And now since he decided to come back, you guys hate him and want him traded or released? what is wrong with you? You guys seriously think Aaron Rodgers is going to be the next favre? he has played in two games and you guys think he is gonna lead you to the superbowl and have great season. For all you who wanted Rodgers in and Favre out, your all idiots. Just because Favre came short of the superbowl, you guys dont want him anymore and think he is washed up and done? you said that two years ago. Seriously, your all idiots and arn't real fans of the game if you wanted Favre out and ROdgers to be the starter and put him in.

I like Favre and if he didn't want to retire....that's fine but the one thing I didn't agree with Favre on was his timing of un-retiring himself. He should have made up his mind long ago before this turned into a media circus and before the organization committed to Rodgers and signed the players around him to suit his skills. I agree that Brett was still the best choice this year for the Packers to win but he should have made himself available alot sooner than he did before this thing got out of control...

uh hello we did want him back, it was Favre that didn't want us.  He was the one demanding a release, he was the one demanding a trade to the Vikings.  You got it all twisted son.  You think we don't want Brett to play, we asked him at least 2 times after he had his retirement press conference if he wanted to come back and he said no.  You need to watch a little more ESPN before you go and call people idiots.

1 REASON- Farve would be done after this year, Rodgers contract is done after this year. Ipso Facto, Rodgers probably won't resign, Packers need to draft another Q when with rodgers they would have more present needs, another 1-3 years grooming a QB while playing journeyman QBS, bad records, veterans retire or leave. Suckage.

There are many of us in Wisconsin who are angry about what has happened to Brett Favre. He brought pride to those of us who live in Wisconsin, pride in the Green Bay packer franchise, and basically represented what the Packers have tried to maintain as their persona since the very beginning. He was a shinning star and it has been difficult for those of us who never wanted him to retire in the first place. The excitement generated by his possible return was wonderful. And then what happened? He's traded to another team. The man who we all loved and could not ever conceive of him playing for another team. I am a die hard Packer fan but I have to admit that I hope Brett kicks butt in New York. He did not deserve what he got after bringing our Packers back to the team they are now.
