Brett Fraser conquers Men’s 100m freestyle crown in Minneapolis: 2011 USA Swimming Grand Prix
Pan American champion, Brett Fraser of Gator Swim Club took a huge ovation from his followers due to his breathtaking performance during the final evening of the 2011 USA Swimming Grand Prix in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Sunday, November 13. Fraser claimed
the Men’s 100m freestyle title.
Gator Swim Club’s Brett Fraser commenced the final encounter in thrilling fashion against his archrivals involving Clement Lefert of France and Gideon Louw Auburn and produced incredible turns to show his consistency during the entire splash. Fraser went
on to clinch the Men’s 100m freestyle crown by banging the finishing divider in a nerve wrecking time of 48.88 seconds. Previously, Fraser won gold title in 200m freestyle event at the 2011 Pan American Games, in Guadalajara.

eighth position by banging the finishing barrier in a time of 50.55 seconds.
Fraser secured the gold medal in the Men’s 200m freestyle race at the 2011 Central American and Caribbean Games, in Cartagena.
Meanwhile, Christopher Brady of North Baltimore claimed victory in the Men’s 100m freestyle B final heat by thrashing the finishing fence in a time of 50.11 seconds. On the other hand, Fred Bousquet of Auburn finished second in a time of 50.29 seconds and
Simon Burnett of Ford settled at third spot in a blot of 50.33 seconds, respectively.
Additionally, the Men’s 100m freestyle C final heat was claimed by Conor Dwyer in a winning spot of 51.23 seconds. After a while, Roman Willets of University of Michigan settled at second place in a mark of 51.54 seconds and Sean Reilly of Una Hawa pocketed
third position in a spot of 51.66 seconds.
Moreover, the Men’s 1500m freestyle title was notched by Trojan's Ous Mellouli in a winning time of 15 minutes and 15.50 seconds. Meanwhile, Michael Klueh grabbed silver medal by clicking the finishing divider in a blot of 15 minutes and 17.44 seconds. Last
of all, Mads Glaesner claimed bronze title in a spot of 15 minutes and 29.32 seconds.
