Brett Rodgers said, "If Ken proves to be more sham [than] rock and Fergi beats him, then the Slice hype grows even greater. Dude is already more myth [than] Sasquatch, Chupacabra and a [expletive] unicorn combined. Kevin is the black Yeti."

Can he right or even understood? Personally I don't think he has the mad street cred to talk that kinda smack.

  1. street cred has nothing to do with mma or fighting, so of the best fighters out there right now wouldent seem like tought guys on the street, personally  BJ Penn dosent look so inteimidating, but i know very well that he would beat the life out of me in under a mintue, Brett Rodgers has every right to talk smack bc he is out there proving him self by beating guys who have some legitmat chance of beating him, hes had more fights and from what we have seen his punching power is in level with Kimbos, if not higher, since he was able to KO James Thompson something Kimbo was not able to do , and his wrestling and ground skills are in another league compared to what Kimbo has to offer, if Rodgers was fighting either of these guys (kimbo or shamrock) i would pick him as the victor,

  2. Obviously you are a troll. Any true MMA fan knows Brett Rodgers would absolutely destory Kimbo and Shamrock. Plus the fact that Brett called Kimbo out to his face, Kimbo accepted the challenge and now he is fighting some old timer has been. Kimbo is being protected and built up by the promoters. People actually know what would happen to him against decent competition.

  3. Just as in boxing, trash talk in MMA means nothing.  Settle it head-to-head in the ring/octagon or STFU.

I think Rodgers is just jealous that Kimbo's smarter than him because Kimbo's probably already made a h**l of a lot more money in MMA than Rodgers ever will, and Rodgers knows it.  That's why he keeps spouting off about Kimbo, trying to ride Kimbo's coattails to fame.

  4. Rogers may have more fights than Kimbo, but he hasn't exactly set the MMA world on fire. He's really just a younger version of K. Slice anyway. He sees beating Kimbo as a shortcut to fame and fortune. But if he beats Kimbo, it isn't going to make a difference. Everyone thinks Kimbo is a sideshow with no real talent anyway. All Rogers will do is be the man who beat the "Legend". It's not going to cement Rogers as one of the greatest of all time, it isn't going to get him more money, and even though it might get him some exposure, it won't get him noticed by any organization that matters. Besides, Kimbo has made about all the money he's going to here. It would be better for him if he loses.  Then he can go fight in Japan, where fame, money, and respect are routinely heaped upon a "circus acts" like Kimbo. Rogers is just crying out for attention. Beating Kimbo would not do a thing for him, while losing to Kimbo would just make him look silly.

P.S. Kimbo will lose to Shamrock by submission; EliteXC won't exist by this time next year.

  5. The Brett Rogers rips Kimbo article has been on the front page of Yahoo news ALL DAY.The guy was trying to get some attention

which he did, also hes just trying to get under Kimbos skin and get him to accept a fight with him. I have to agree about the sesame street stuff, have you seen the guys Kimbo was beating up on you tube, what a joke, every guy he fought slow overweight and inexperienced.

"Dude is already more myth [than] Sasquatch, Chupacabra and a [expletive] unicorn combined. Kevin is the black Yeti."  LOL
