  1. They are very dumb,I always laugh when I think of Ted T. Or Mike M.

Because why would you trade brett favre...

  2. latest news is he's back at the packers

  3. I think the Packers will miss him if the QB doesent pull through. If he pulls a Grossman this season, he may not last long.

  4. look for the packers this was a great move. first they dont have to play brett at all this year had he gone to tampa bay. think of all the non stop coverage by espn if he were playing against tampa. they would have to answer the seemless endless questions about him. second they got some value for him. i doubt teams were lining up wanting to get brett favre. they wouldnt have assurances that he would play at all this year or retire in the middle of the year if things got to be bad etc.

this move is bad for brett. he said he wanted to comeback and play yes but the jets are light years away from contending for a title. they play  in th esmae division as the patriots and tom brady and those guys are pissed that they lost int he super bowl and are looking to make a statement this year. plus the angle about mangini and belicheck believe me the patriots will have a game plan to shut brett down. also the afc is loaded so i dont know how the jets will even make the playoffs this year.brett favre wants to win another title. what he shouldve done was try to force green bay's hand and block a trade to the jets and stay retired or try to get some legal manuevering in to have them release him so he can sign w/ the vikings or bucs who are closer to getting him the ring than people think.

  5. No, it was the right thing to do. It's time move on.

Brett needs to grow up and learn how to make up his mind. They put up with his wishy-washy c**p for too long and finally got sick of it. Sometimes change is good for everyone.

  6. no actually this was famus mike sherman who screwed packer fans by givin into favre all these years now that thompson and mccarthy want to pull the rings favre doesnt like it and wanted out

  7. Once again for the umpteenth time,Brett Favre retired, even had a tearful farewell on national TV,he had been threatening to retire for years, they finally got fed up with his whinnying azz and let him get his wish, then he comes back and wants to play again,The dumbest thing was not Thompson or McCarthy trading him,it was Brett Favre by announcing his retirement and then coming back

  8. I think it was a good idea. Because Brett still has some game left in him, and the packers didn't really want him. So I think it was a pretty good idea.

  9. u went a little overboard but i believe with brett they had a chance at the SB but with rogers they dont got no shot. i wouldve kept brett but i understand what the packers are sayin as well

  10. they had to do something he would have just been dea weight since he would have been the backup from what McCarthy said

but they definitely didnt get enough for a future hall of fame quarterback

  11. I think it's ridiculous that the Packers got rid of Favre. I think it's more because of Ted Thompson wanting his "golden boy" Rodgers to start. Big mistake by the Pack!!!

  12. I'm more tired of seeing this question or "comment" talking about it. And you can stop betting on them being fired. McCarthy just signed a 4 year deal with the Packers for Millions and TT signed with them about 2 yrs ago and still have a couple of yrs left on his contract as well. Trading Favre was for the best. Ultimately, Favre brought more of them on himself with prematurely retiring.
