it was so fun to watch favre play at green bay. i went to go see the games and everything. i hope that he does well but he knows that there is no where like green bay. it seems like all the fans love you no matter what happens. the stadium is still full on a losing season. so i hope he does well but i know that he will still miss green bay.

I was a huge Brett fan but no i don't really no what to Think. i think it was a stupid decision if your going to retire do it. think of all the things the stores have from brett's retirement now they can't sell them any more. And its going to be sooo weird with his Jersey and hall of fame things for the Packers when he is still playing. I don't know i think allot of people have lost respect for him now i no I have he's kind of has made an a** out of him self. I hope he does horrible just because of that. And i also Have A HATE for the Jets with a passion so I hope he F***s it up evan more for them.

Personally, I wouldn't root for Favre. He thinks he's an exception that he can go whereever, whenever.

He wasn't made out to look like a bad guy either. However, when T-O did the same and held out, he was labeled as a horrible, bad man.

So just because of that, I hope he doesn't do good.

Actually, I hope no one does good unless they're on the Eagles.

Yes i will still root for Brett Favre. I am a packers fan, but right now im a little pissed off at how they have treated Brett. And it doesnt start with Brett they have done this to past players as well. I hope he does do good, as in go to the playoffs good. You shouldnt hate the Jets if anything you should be happy. Sure they arent the best team in the league, but they are the only team that stood up and said that they wanted him (Tampa said it too late). I am happy that he is back playing football. I am going to have to buy a Favre Jets jersey now!

I am so sick of so called Packer fans and their blind worship of Brett Favre. A better question is will these fake fans support their team without crucifying an innocent guy (Aaron Rodgers). No man is greater than the team. If Packer fans are angry with Ted Thompson they should be just as angry with Brett. Little kids were out at training camp yelling about how much Aaron Rodgers sucked. That's just wrong. I'm ticked off at Packer fans because they have let blind worship cloud their reason.

i will still root for brett favre  cause this is great to watch some of the thows he makes are incredible more great plays than bad throws and i will always root for brett favre no matter who he plays for i watched him for 16 years in green bay and if only the jets get acouple of years some of the fans will have a great game to start

Well, to be honest I was never really a fan of Brett Favre anyway.  However I do hope that wherever he goes, that he does well with what is left of his illustrious career.  I have no doubt that many Packer fans will be disappointed, and you will likely here Packer fans booing Favre.  I think that Favre made a choice that was in his best interest.  But at the same time, I don't think the Packers did the right thing in this situation.  You see the Packers, may have Rodgers, but what if he does poorly?  Who do they have to turn to?  They should have allowed Favre to compete for the job, that way if Rodgers did poorly then they would know what they were getting into.  Now the Packers are going in the blind.  It was a poor decision, but I expect Favre to do just fine for the most part..

Well, he is certainly an upgrade for the Jets...on paper.

It is a new system, new players, new coaching...new everything.  

Plus a team that really sucked last year.  

Certainly not the ideal situation to step into.  The odds are stacked high against him succeeding.  And when he doesn't, he is going to hear about it big time.  "All that drama for this?"

I suppose if anyone can beat the odds, it would be Brett.  I wouldn't bet on him, but I am not rooting against him.

roger starbach,dan marino,john elway,jim kelly,troy aikman..can you imagine peyton manning being traded at the end of his career..Something is very fishy here..These guys all finished there careers at the place they made famous..Respect was shown,this brett farve thing doesn't ad up..
