brett lee is certainly better but still he is on no. 5 because dale steyn has a good ability to take the wickets of tailenders. By this he is getting more wickets and so is ranked above brett lee.

his importance is more in the team as he also has to take up the responsibility of the pace spearhead after McGrath retired and he is doing a wonderful job

brett lee is a really great bowler, and i don't think in the fast bowling section there is not a lot of threatening bowlers for him.

Over the two players whole careers, Brett Lee wins easily. Currently, I'd say it was close, Steyn may edge it for me, but Lee is still one of the world's best bowlers of today.
