  1. Yeah...it doesnt really make any sense for the clippers.

  2. No, Jason Hart fit better on Clipper's system than Jazz and same with Brevin Knight.  Also, Hart would provide chemistry in the locker room in which the team need. Hart play well when he was with the Clippers.

  3. jason hart is younger. a lot younger.

  4. Its a fair trade. They're both back-up PGs, personally i like Knight better than Hart, but seems to me that the Clippers think otherwise. However, no matter what, their talents are similar, back-up PGs, Knight could be a starter if pressured (Charlotte 04-06)

  5. Yeah you're right Knight is so much better compared to Hart but anyways Baron is already there together with Livingston...

  6. the clippers are trying to upgrade every position anyway possible. plus they dont want an old bench.

  7. Talent-wise Brevin Knight is a better player, but he did not make quite an impact in Clippers last season - to take over the role of veteran leadership as left by Sam Cassell. Plus he has always been the smallest player on the floor who would face more nightmare-like mismatches as time goes by. Therefore, a trade is not too surprising at all.

Jason Hart is used to be the default backup of Deron Williams, but obviously Ronnie Price is pushing him very hard for PG role in 2nd string, and it becomes more apparent that he loses the race. I agree that he has some good days in Clippers and a reunion is logical.

By far it is a win-win trade: for Jazz should they lose CJ Miles to Thunders or Morris Almond is some way off to take the role in 2nd string, it allows Jerry Sloan to re-position Deron to off-guard while sending Knight on the floor as a ball-radiator; for Clippers they fully understand fresher legs are needed in PG and certainly, you can't rely Eric Gordon to backup Baron Davis.

    Another example of tactical optimization.

  8. yeah but it's not going to help or hurt any of those team.
