  1. I wouldn't mind only if he went to the Braves!

They should keep him, he'll bounce back!

  2. I really don't know.

He's in a bit of an adjustment year at the plate.  He's being pitched to completely different this year.  You can't really expect him to be a great defender, and he's a big leader in the club house.

If it was right after last season, NO Brewers fans would be in question of whether or not they wanted to keep him.

I'd like him to stay, but if he doesn't, it isn't the end of the world.

  3. Pitchers have figured out how to pitch him,so his stats are gonna drop.

  4. well this year he must be kept because we have no one else

but i do agree with you completely

he isnt hitting and is horrible in the field

but lets be honest he has scott boras as an agent anyway

so he probably wont resign because boras takes the top off always

and i think mat gamel can play first

    but prince is definatly expendable

but on the other hand lets look on the bright side

braun is a beast at the plate and has found a home in left field

and we get to enjoy 7 more seasons after this one :)

  5. no, i'd love to trade him for a good pitcher because we have a lot of great prospects we are currently working on.  Prince Fielder is expendable.

  6. Prince Fielder is probably one of my favourite players, but as you said he isn't hitting like everyone knows he can. He hasn't played at his level lately. I like the Brewers but they aren't my first team. If I were a bigger fan I probably wouldn't care.

  7. Not only have pitchers learned how to pitch to him, he is now a vegetarian!!! You have to figure that he isn't getting maximum strength behind his swing because of his new diet. I say get this boy a cheeseburger and he'll be back on track!!

  8. It seems every day his value to the team continues to drop. He hasn't had a homerun since August 13. No extra base-hits since then either. 20 strikeouts since then. Avg. dropped 15 points since then.

As much of a fan favorite he is, Boras is going to net him a LOT of cash.

It would be best for the team if he were traded after the season. Gamel could probably replace him at first, depending on how well he does this month.
