Breyer horse help??

Question

i want to make saddles and bridles for my show breyers....and some one who is REALLY REALLY REALLY good at making them to answer this. my first few attepmts were well....really really really bad and i need some tips on what leather to use and basically how to get the look im looking for.....i would buy some but they can be expensive!!!!!!! also i want to send one of my breyers to get remodled and painted...any one who does that....how much would it cost if i sent a picture of my horse so the breyer looked just like him.....help please..i know its a lot but if you could help thank you very much!!!!

Have no idea,but try your best,if you ride maybe ask your riding instructor,if they know,or someone else!I just love collecting Breyer horses.Their so fun right?

Hi, I have included a link for a Yahoo E-group that is full of people who make their own model horse tack and are very helpful.  I can't really answer your question, as I haven't yet tried to actually make a saddle, but if anyone can lead you in the right direction, they can and answer most of your questions.  There are very talented tack makers in the group and they will critique your work if you post pics as you go.  Good luck.

Hi, im sorry i dont have any saddle making knowledge but just wanted to ask if you knew of any websites for selling Breyer models. I have about 15 really rare models from my childhood some over 35 yrs old and in mint condition. If you know where i could post to sell them  it would be much appreciated. you could just email me. thanks.
