Brian Ashton and England?

Brian Ashton is doing for England what Jack Charlton did for us. rout 1: a nice big hefty pack with a good number then. I don't think it will be enough against France, unfortunatly cause i really hate them, Eng are living on a wing and a prayer at the moment and with the way Lewcey is playing its more like a prayer

Still, if England win again (which I concede is an outside chance - but they have more chance than Ireland!) then who cares if they're boring? Read the name on the trophy!

Dont be so quick to write yourself off against the French. They have a habit of choking against England in knockout games. Must be thoughts of Agincourt rushing back to them.

You guys have done pretty well to get as far as you have. Some people were picking England to not even get out of their pool!

Pretty much everyone wrote them off for the QF against Aus.

I reckon you've actually got a good chance against the French.

Yeh Ashton seems to have done a good job, but it has coincided with the return of Wilkinson. I think Johnny is the key to their success so far.
