Brian Davis snatches the third spot, whereas Ricky Barnes leads the points table
The thirty-six years old golfing ace, Brian Davis is performing staggering well in the (Commerce Investment Merchant Bank) Asia Pacific golf event, which is being held in Kuala Lumpur. The British golf ace currently needs two shots
to lead the event.
In his recent performance, the Englishman faced strong challenges from his American archrivals Ryan Moore and Ricky Barnes. However, he was able to snatch the third spot in the points standings of the day’s play as he fired six
sensational birdies and recorded a tremendous sixty-five under par. On the other hand, Ryan Moore resided on sixty-four under par and Ricky Barnes recorded his day’s play at sixty-three par under.
The thirty-six years old, Briton is now joined by Carl Pettersson and Charlie Wi on 6 under par. On the other hand, the golfing ace Martin Laird is joined by four participants on 5 under.
The current leader of the CIMB golf event, the veteran golfer from California, Ricky Barnes showed the best of his talent like never before. The twenty-nine years old carded seventeen putts in the day’s play. His performance at
the Mines Resort golf club has given him a strong inspiration for the upcoming challenges and so far, he is very happy with the way he has performed in Kuala Lumpur.
After the day’s play, the twenty-nine years old Californian expressed his thoughts and ambitions confidently and told the media about his performance. Barnes said that he was trying to keep his head cool during the day’s play and
tried to make the round pretty stress-less and so far he is satisfied with the way he has done. Barnes added that he tried to putt the ball from twenty to twenty-five meters and was able to putt most of them successfully. It is also to be noted that Ricky
Barnes recorded eight sensational birdies in the day’s play.
The real challenge is still ahead as Barnes is going to be challenged by some of the top golfers of the world like Luke Donald and Martin Laird, but the American looks happy and confident with his performance. Barnes said that
he is very happy with the way he has played as he outclassed all of his veteran rivals and snatched the top spot of the tournament’s points table. He said that he started the day really well and his courageous attempts to shoot the ball from a wider range
gave him immense confidence.
Barnes is now followed by his compatriot Ryan Moore on the tournament’s points table. Moore also displayed the best of his game and carded seven birdies with a staggering endeavour. The twenty-seven years old golfer from Nevada
gave his full and made the day’s play worth watching.
After the performance, the American told the media that this was probably the last chance for him to end the season in a better way. He added and said that so far, he is satisfied with the way he has performed and he is happy that
everything went according to the plans.
The twenty-seven year old golfer expressed his eagerness for the upcoming challenges by saying that this year is better than the previous year according to his performance and he wants to win the tournament to end the season on
a high. He added that his form is good and the season has been great for him. Moore continued, saying that Mines Resort & Golf Club is a great course to play, this is his final tournament of the year, and as long as he is clinching crucial birdies, he is satisfied
with his performance and knows that he has a chance to win.
