Do you think the Rockies will trade Fuentes before the Deadline? If yes, to which team, and for what?

  1. They aren't going to trade him, they're doing way to good right now.  And by the off chance that they will, Manny isn't quite ready for the closing job as he's just getting his velocity and confidence back.  Taylor Bucholz may take over the job, but that also could be too big of a leap for his comfort level. So no replacement closer=no trade

  2. The Rockies are asking too much for him and with him being a free agent after this season, teams aren't gonna want to give up alot for him...The team that needs to trade for him is St.Louis because they've had problems at the closer position and he's not a bad closer.

  3. Well a week ago I would have said yes, but now with them playing so well I am not as sure because if they decide to trade him and all of a sudden they are in the thick of things in the NL West, they have no closer...so in the end I doubt they will trade him but if they do decide to put him on the market, you can bet it will probably be to the Cardinals

  4. please come to st. louis! we need you! i hate issy and franklin and every1 else.  but most of all i hate tony larussa! he has no idea what he's doing in the bullpen.  like 2 nights ago.  jason isringhowson (sorry for spelling) pitches 1 inning and he pitches good FOR ONCE and then issy who bats maybe twice a year gets to bat (he sucks at batting) and then doesnt pitch the next inning. im like wth. anyways please cardinals dont be cheap u know whats and get brian fuentes!

  5. Brian Fuentes mite end up being a cardinal.  Thats the team i see him fitting in the easiest.  The Rockies wouldnt trade Fuentes to the Dodgers when they are divison rivals.  Cards are desperate for a closer.  Not sure Cardinals will give back much in return.  Maybe the likes of an Aaron Miles.

  6. Well a week or 2 ago I would have said yeah Fuentes and Holliday are both gone.  However the Rockies have been hot as of late and the NL West is up for grabs for any team that wants to take it because nobody in that division has decided they want it all year long.  With that being said I don't see Fuentes or Holliday going anywhere because the Rockies still have a very good chance to take that division.
