Brian January lead as Indiana Fever run riot over Connecticut Sun 95-61 – WNBA Recap
On Thursday night at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indiana Fever stream rolled their over the visiting Connecticut Sun with the score line being 95-61. Indiana`s performance in the game was highlighted by their long range shooting
exploits.
It was a good game for the Fever considering they were defeated by Sun`s on their floor back on Tuesday night.
"Our energy was not good at Connecticut,'' Douglas said. ``Our foot was full throttle on the gas from the start (in this game). That's the way we need to come out and play every night and set the tone. The game tonight was more
about us, not our opponent. Coming out and playing hard with a lot of energy and focus.''
They shot the ball 15-24 from behind the arc, capping off an impressive overall showing for the team. Brian January led the way with 20 points with 12 of them coming from the three point line.
Along with January, Indiana had four other players making sizable contributions in the game with scoring coming from almost all ends of the floor. Katie Douglas shot the ball 6 of 14 from the field to muster up 17 points in the
game.
Tamika Catchings and Shavonte Zellous both combined together to shoot the ball 10 of 20 from the field for 13 points each and were also responsible for grabbing down 16 rebounds.

in franchise history.
The third quarter of the game saw no difference to the advantage Indiana held in the game and despite the Sun`s outscoring Fever 19-12 in the period, they still trailed 49-69.
Indiana put an exclamation point on the game in the fourth quarter. They started the proceedings of the period with an 11-3 run and never really took their foot off the pedal.
