Brian Roberts talks about the current ambiance as Baltimore Orioles move to four wins

The Baltimore Orioles were highly impressive in their 5th April, 2011 game against the Detroit Tigers. Coming into the game with three back to back victories, the club had the ardent task to stretch the victory count beyond the existing figure.
Much to their surprise, the situation worked out well, as the club received much desired triumph as second baseman, Brian Roberts, smashed a three run homer in the fifth inning of the fixture.
At the same time, the Orioles pitcher, Jake Arrieta, moved on to top the list of the manager’s most favoured ball player as he threw six innings, conceding just a run.
Roberts’ move towards the victory is packing up a lot of confidence in the lineup. With new additions to the side, the club looks powerful. Skipper Buck Showalter is letting the more prominent stars lead the charge, as he focuses on getting the new contingent
to work out the rust on their bats.
The hype at Camden Yards is gaining momentum. Roberts was able to talk about the hysteria that has been enveloping the Baltimore faithfuls to the club stadium.
"We were in the locker room [Sunday] night in Tampa, and Kevin Buck, our travelling secretary, told us that standing-room only tickets were going for 75, 100 bucks. All the guys were like, 'Wow.' It's one of those things that I don't think the team had been
that excited in my career for Opening Day here."
The second baseman has played in all four games, so far and has yielded five hits from 17 At-Bats. He is the leading striker of the ball with two home runs in the camp. Roberts believes that the start is not something big but did not entirely deny its significance
either.
"I don't think anybody's ever had a bad 4-0 start. It's been awesome. I certainly have been through a lot. We all know that. But with the expectations coming into this year, to still be able to go out there and do that, it's been great for us."
With a batting average of .295 and a slugging rate of .765, the Orioles’ hard hitter is looking to do more, as the Orioles move on to play their 158 remaining fixtures in the year.
