Question:

Brian Wilson?

Do his many saves atone for his general demolition of my ERA and WHIP? Should I cut him? It's hard to cut a guy with that many saves but it drives me crazy to see his almost daily ERA of 9.000 + and WHIP of 3.000+.

  1. Keep him because the ERA doesn't affect your points remember only his saves and Ks and wins and losses. If he has the saves keep him in the lineup Skipper

  2. I have him in my team and I dont ever think about dropping him unless there's a better option in the waivers. As long as you have a solid starting pitcher rotation in your team, it will offset whatever Wilson is doing.

All I can say is be patient with Wilson. at least, he is the one of the NL leaders in Saves.

  3. Depends, if you have at least 2 other closers then go ahead and cut him loose. But if you only have 2, including Wilson, then I would keep him. Hopefully he gets demoted and Hinshaw steps into the closer role. (Keep an eye on him)

Also, if Kobayashi (Indians closer) or Marte (Pirates closer) are available in your league, then drop Wilson for one of them.

    Hope this helps.
