Bricked psp and pandoras battery don't work?

Question

i am in a bind my psp won't come on and the recovery dosen't work now. my friend thought it was bricked so he used a pandoras battery on it and it didn't work, now when he used memory stick in mine and it still didn't work he put his memory stick back in his psp.... when he did his psp began to do the same thing. is my psp infected with one of thoes rare viruses and if so how do i fix it without it being able to go into usb mode, and no recovery mode?
