Brickhill Dunk stands first in the 450m Grade A1 Heat at Poole on Jan 29 
A 450 metre long Grade A1 Heat was won by Brickhill Dunk, at Poole on Sunday, January 29, 2012.
The black b***h upset the favourite, Cleveland Lois, and the rest, sealing the top position on the chart. Her superb performance earned her a cash prize of £101.
Carrying the odds of 3 to 1, Royal Impact’s daughter out of Loughanboy Molly started off the proceedings from the fifth stall.
D. Heard’s trainee led the run all the way through, clocking the distance in 26.89 seconds.
The runner-up, Tippys Dadaargh was one length adrift of the champion. The second placed b***h completed the race in 26.98 seconds, after leaving from trap number two.
Trained by J Christie, Brookside Bear’s daughter out of Pennys Dazzler was holding the winning chances of 9 to 2.
The most favourite hound, Cleveland Lois, whose starting price was 11 to 4, finished third on the table.
Despite showing a clear run, she was not able to surpass the top-2, making it to the post in 27.10 seconds.
It was a neck to neck competition between Tippys Dadaargh, and Cleveland Lois, however, a near line lead guided the latter to finish third.
The blue daughter of Top Honcho out of Wernham Lass, began the heat from the first stall.
The fourth slot was sealed by Right Pick, who was enjoying the odds of 6 to 1. The top-three b*****s outperformed the black dog, and pushed him down to the fourth place.
After his discharge from the trap, Tyrur Ted’s son out of Lady Leona crossed the wire in 27.20 seconds.
Bigwood Pearl, and Annamore Swift, locked final two positions, respectively. P. F. Woodhouse’s trainee, who managed to beat the back marker by one length, left the trap with the winning possibility of 4 to 1. His finishing time was 27.28 seconds.
The last on the chart, Annamore Swift bridged the area in 27.46 seconds. With the odds of 3 to 1, the black b***h commenced the show from the third stall. She showed an early pace, but lost her advantage due to the crowd.
Brickhill Dunk took second position in her last outing. However, she returned strongly this time around, and earned a lot of praise from her connections.
