Bricking a stucco house?

Question

Do you ever heard about bricking a house with currently stucco on it, taking the stucco down first.

What would that entail and how much would it cost per sqft?

I've seen them do it over the stucco..they simply s***w in thier bricks stays to the stucco..pour a concrete foundation and brick ledge..and brick it right on up..cost..I have no idea
