Bricklaying apprenticeships leicestershire?????

hi im 17 and im looking for a bricklaying apprenticeship and finding it really hard, i was down to the last two for an apprenticeship last week, however they could not afford to take two people on and took the other candidate because he was more experienced and was working as a labourer. Does any body now of any going in the leicestershire area???????????

I've never worked in the trade so can't tell you anything specific, but have you looked at the Learning & Skills Council's list of apprenticeships? Maybe they've got something.

wast of time the building industy is about to die ( in 1 and half years from now) so dont bother.  All these brickies and there wives swaning around in 4x4s (all on tick) will within 2 years be scabbin about with ad reading 'no job too small' etc.
