I want to buy my husband & his father tickets to the Brickyard races on the 27th for his birthday. However, I know nothing about nascar, and therefore dont know where the best angle would be to see the races. Where would the best (& affordable) place be to see the most of the track?

  1. When I go for the Indy 500 I like Turn four, mid-upper section.  You can see turns 1, 3 and 4 and see the finish. Turn 3 isn't bad either.

  2. Best seats are in your living room. After that, Turn 1 or 4. The Brickyard is one of the worst to see a race from the stands. Can't see the whole track. Anything along the front stretch is good also.

  3. IMO, start/finish line, but I havent been there since '95, I'm sure not much has changed as far as good seats go.

  4. if theres any GOOD seats left

  5. See above answer^^^^

  6. Best place to sit is the frontstretch in the shade.

  7. NW Vista as high as you can get them

  8. If hes like the rest of us NASCAR fans then hes gonna want to sit some where were he can see the whole track and be close to the start finish line.

  9. Affordable ? NASCAR isn't affordable. Best seats are in the main grand stand, high up, across from pit road. I've sat in turn one high, good seats. Turns two & three suc_k, had those before, cheap because lousy seats.

Best to wait now, I doubt anything decent is available. Maybe buy tickets for next years race.
