Question:

Bridal Shower Thank You Notes - Help?

by  |  earlier

I'm in the process of writing thank you notes for gifts received at my bridal shower and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. How do I word a thank you note to my two sisters-in-law and my sister? I don't want to sound too formal, like I'm sending a thank you note to an acquaintance. How do I make it sound more personal?

Thanks for you help. :-)

  1. If they are the ones who put the shower on. Just thank them for a wonderful shower, that they have made this time in your life so special and you do not know any words to experss how thankful you are to have them in your life. They will like that!

  2. I would make sure to send a personalized note to each one noting what they did (if they helped organize) and how you liked and are going to use their gift. Address them in the same way you would if you were speaking to them.

If you want to go the "extra mile" send them each different cards specific to what they like.

  3. Just word it the exact way you would speak to them. Thank them for their gifts and help and always being there etc. they will love just getting one so no big worries! Congrats on the Wedding by the way!

  4. go to this site: http://weddings.about.com/od/bridesandgr...

    it helped me out alot!

  5. Express your thanks to them by mentioning them by name and the gift that they so graciously gave you. Mention the fact that you are so happy that now you will all be family.

  6. --Maybe tell your sister that you are thankful/grateful for the gift, but you are even more grateful to have such a wonderful sister.

--For your sisters in law, maybe tell them that your are thankful/grateful for the gift, but you are more happy that you will have two new sisters.

--Those were quick thoughts. Hope they helped. Best wishes!
