Bride and bridesmaid conflicts?

my friend asked me to be a bridesmaid but has left me with no information and the wedding is tomorrow

What? That's just wild. You need to call her and ask her what her intentions are.

Thats just silly. I guess the best you can do with no information is show up early wearing a dress.

This doesn't make  lot of sense, it's not even practical!

You don't have to do anything but walk up the aisle and they'll tell you who you are walking up with. And then at the reception the tradition is to dance with the groomsman that you walked up the aisle with.

You can sort out hair and make up yourself or get a friend to do it, that shouldn't be a problem but what about the dress?!

On the other hand you can always say "no".
