Bridesmaids hair do's?

who pays for it? i'm having someone come to my house the morning of my wedding to do my bridesmaids hair but i'm wondering who pays for it?

If this is something you are insisting on, then you would pay for it, because if it is their choices, they may have wanted to do their own hair. If they all decided, as a group to have their hair done at your house, it would be no different than if they went to a salong on their own, so each would pay for their own, but you would also have to pay for your own.

If YOU are having someone to come in and do the bridesmaid's hair, it is your responsibility to pay for it.  Especially if you are doing it because you want their hair done the same.

It is your wedding, you asked them to be bridesmaids, you are inviting this person round  to do hair. You should pay! This is my personal opinion, but I am from the UK and this is how it is done there. If you are from America, the bridesmaids pay for hair, make up, dress etc themselves :)

My theory is if it more than a dress and is "required" than you should pay for it. If they have the option than let them pay. My best friend wanted us all to get our hair done so she paid for the styling. We had the option of getting our makeup done by a makeup artist and we paid for that individually.

I am paying for my BMs hair, makeup and dresses. They can wear whatever shoes they want. That seems fair to me.

The bridesmaids do. I would call your girls and make sure they are aware.  You dont want any hard feelings on your bid day!

A bridesmaid is responsbile for paying for her dress, shoes, alterations and hair and make-up. Also, they are expected to contribute to the showers, as well as, shower and wedding gifts.

So to answer your question...the bridesmaid is! It can be rather expensive!

i feel like if you picked out the hair style and the stylist, you are responsbile to pay. it can get expensive.  when i got married i just told them i wanted their hair down and curled.  most of my bridesmaids were able to do it themselves.  

everyone has their own opinion on this topic though.

The girls pay for it themselves. If they don't want to or can't, either have someone who knows how do it for them for free, or if they can't afford to pay for it you may want to help them out. But you are NOT required to pay for their hairstyles. You can't pay for everything, and they will understand this.
