What does it mean to get your "colors done"? Is it a British thing? Please help. Mucho confused

  1. I think its referring to when you go to a store to find out what colours suit you, going on hair, skin tone etc. someone in store is trained in it. not very common though and only really in big department stores in london or big cities


  2. It means when you get your hair highlighted or in some way get your hair dyed. Yeh it is kinda British and most British people use that phrase,

It's a British term, it means basically that you usually go to a big department store, and an assistant will match your 'colors' - according to your skin tone, hair and eye color they will recommend certain color palettes for you to wear. Eg - someone with pale skin and fair hair might be given 'colors' like blue and lilac that will compliment them the most.

  4. i havn't read it but i think she's talking about getting her hair done. getting it dyed or highlighted maybe. i'm British btw x x lol
