These tires are described as all season, with traction in rain and light snow. Would they be adequate for use on mountain roads during winter (snow/ice) conditions?

  1. Here are some reviews that you might be interested in.

    1. These tires are garbage, can't keep straight even with less than an inch of snow on the ground, forget it with ice! Am going to replace these tires with less than 600 miles on them. What was GM thinking? Or just maybe they don't care about customer safety.

    2. These tires came with truck as original equipment. They have been good in dry conditions, but a bit noisy and hard riding. In wet or snowy weather, they do not perform as well - and as tread depth decreased, hydroplaning became a problem at highway speeds in rainy weather. I did get 50K miles out of them, but will replace with a different brand, probably Michellin Cross Terrain or Goodyear Fortera TripleTreds.

    3. These came OEM with my truck although they are fairly quiet these make a lot of noise at slow speeds with the windows open. They could last until 38000 but I am replacing them now, very difficult to maintain steering on a grooved highway where the trucks wear ruts in the road surface but this may be a challenge for most tires.

    Good Luck
