Have an old B&S engine Model #60102; Type #940187;Serial #6219061.Governor linkage needs replacing, ( linkage rod is broken off and spring is stretched out).My problem is the linkage to air vane and throttle control lever is just hanging off the air vane.Any GOOD pictures on how this should be hooked up? Searched everywhere on the net with no success.I ordered the parts for it but there not in yet. Thanks

  1. I don't have any pics but I feel if you think about what it does you can figure it out.  When the vane is as far away from the fly wheel as possible , the linkage should open the carburetor plate will be wide open.

  2. did you try this: www.briggsandstratton.com?

locate your engine. all kinds of parts diagrams.

  3. Try "outdoordistributors.com"  They have exploded views of all the briggs engines.
