Bright Migraine Flashes?

I have flashes of light when i have a migraine but during not before so its not a warning aura. Does anyone know what that means?

  1. Visual aura,and  mainly photopsia (flashes) can appear during (instead of before) the headache  in migraine (in around 20 per cent of cases).

    It could just be this.


  2. Those are classic signs of migraine and I have had them on & off for years. Usually I get flashes and shortly thereafter the partial blind-spots and then headache and nausea.  I rarely feel one coming on and if I do I take 2 Excedrin Migraine and it's worked for me if I do it immediately. Ask your doctor which is the right treatment for you.
