Bright Red or Deep Purple

Question

I am a 14 year old girl and i want to paint my room either bright red or deep purple. The red would be the color of Target the stores target symbol and the purple would resemble the color of a dark eggplant.

Go with the RED!

Purple, even though full of color won't be as bright.  Either color, should incorporate mixes of same color.  Pillows, should be calming..in pink, or lime.  Be sure to have an accent color.  White, would look nice with either.  You'll need some anchor color to have some balance.

I'm 14 too and I really think you will get old of the red very fast. Plus red is a hard color to paint. I would go with purple.
