Brighton - the "Brighton Eye" have they started building yet?

I read in the local newspaper the other day that becuase of the credit crunch the investors have pulled out therefore there are not plans for it to be built yet as there is no money!

Brighton are still planning on building it, they are just looking for other investors now

Nope.  No sign whatsoever.  Was supposed to have started last summer.

I'd heard that they were waiting for the water board to finish upgrading the pipes before starting.  Maybe next year....
