straight sets, murray should beaten him easier in the 2nd set! now djokovic has more competiton on hard court, his favourite surface! very satisfying knowing this arrogant punk djoko got destroyed! well done murray! djoko might be very talented but when the pressure mounts he cannot handle it! the only reason he does so well now is because he is young and not much to lose! he is looking very vulnerable! nadal only lost to him because he was tired and emotionally drained after # 1. must be a blow to the djokovic ego,he needs titles to feed his ego! OUCH!

  1. Whoever said he was invincible? Not as if he is number one and undefeated. Clearly though he is one of the very best and more consistent on the surface. He lost 7-6 7-6 not 2 and 2. Give the guy a break.

  2. And to say he won the Australian Open! He just hasn't been in form lately. 2nd Round exit at Wimbledon, and now he has lost to Murray two weeks in a row on hard courts!

  3. lol come on I think you're being too hard on Novak he played well but he really messed up mentally especially after he hurt his foot. I think modesty is overrated, he's talented and he knows it, just needs a little reality check every once in a while. Nothing wrong with being confident.

Murray was class and outplayed ( and outsmarted ) Novak throughout the match. Kudos to him though I hoped to see Djokovic win.

    EDIT

I didn't say he lost because of his foot. I meant that he wasn't strong mentally and seemed especially irritable after he hurt (or twisted or bent, whichever verb you prefer ;) ) his foot. at least that's what I noticed

  4. Novak never lost the match because he hurt his foot ! lmao ! His foot is fine, he lost the match because Andy Murray played better and thats a fact.

Congrats to Murray on his first master series title, he deserved it!

  5. Well sure Murray is legitimate competition on the hard courts but you still cannot count out Federer or Nadal. Djokovic may have beaten Nadal yesterday but that was only one match and it is not the last word on Nadal's chances on hard courts. And of course you cannot count Federer out; now that all the attention is on Nadal and even Djokovic because he is great on the hard courts people are too quick to count Federer out and that puts less pressure on him. It makes the Olympics and the US Open all the more interesting. The thing about Djokovic is that he has an unstable side to him that can really hurt him against anyone. We saw that against Safin at Wimbledon and today where it was one of the poorest matches I have seen him play. I think the pressure does get to Novak and that messed with his mind before the match today because most everyone expected him to win.

  6. Since when is NoDjok invicible on hard courts?  Plus, he and Murray are the same age you idiot!!!  Check your facts before you start posting things that show that you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

How about NoDjok snapping, that's right snapping, Nadal's win streak.  Looks like the new number one couldn't compete last night.

  7. None of these players are invincible.  Fed, Nole, Nadal, Murray and lots of others can win on any given day.
