Brine Shrimp (Sea Monkeys) do they live in salt water of spring water.

I bought brine shrimp in the pet store. They were sold as feeders. How much salt do I put in a gallon of water??

I have not bought the sea monkey set... I bought only the sea monkey so how do you take care of it.

  1. you can get salt water ones called aqausaurs or something. and you can get freshwater ones. but if you are feeding them to something then it doesn't matter

  3. You need to get marine salt and mix according to directions.

    Brine are salt water shrimp.  You cannot use table or rock salt.  You need marine with minerals.  Usually it is 1/4 cup per gallon but it varies depending on if you are using REAL sea salt or artificial.

    You also should have an air stone to circulate the water (if intending to breed or hatch eggs)

    You also need to feed them.  They sell brine shrimp food but you can make your own.
