  1. Define active. I watch the Wings games all season, (at least when my job doesn't get in the way) tivo the ones I cant watch live, and watch as many playoff games as I possible can to see what we're up against if we get to the SCF. In that respect, I'm active year round. I love the Wings even when they suck, which fortunately isn't often. If you're referring to being on the answers site for hockey, I get a lot more active during the playoffs about answering questions, and participating in the forums, especially when I have to miss games. In my opinion, that doesn't make me a bandwagon fan, I don't know about in your opinion.

  2. Not a fan of either team, but rooting for Detroit out of Original Six loyalty.

  3. Well it's official now that he's gone so now I can say that I miss Bob around here.

    Probably like....5-8.lol

  4. i found this board sometime during the Caps series.....yet i am still here and will be from now on...will that make me a regular?

  5. Being that I was a Whalers fan, my allegence is with the Canes now, but they haven't been around since early April.  I haven't been answering questions too much of late soley because of all the "c**p" that is being spewed on here.  I understand bandwagon fans getting into winning teams, but when they talk junk it just turns me off.

  6. i want the Top Bandwagoner Badge!!! (it's better than this stupid one ... and all others like it)

the only time that i'm not on, is when workload picks up.

i find that analysis actually gets better in the summer, cuz it's hard to cheerlead when not much is going on.

add - agreed. BRING BOB (Scott, i think; right Joe?) BACK!!!!

  7. I think Bob has lost interest in the site. I don't blame him either. The dead horses have taken over the bandwagons are getting silly and the total lack of hockey knowledge can get on ones nerves.

I have taken a couple of sabbaticals and found that nothing has changed and the questions are in repeat mode.

I wonder if anyone ever read the similar question quote that springs up when you ask a question? I mean people if the question doesn't change the answer shouldn't either.

  8. i will be on everyday during the off-season, we have the draft, trades, free agents and all over things to talk about

  9. I came in around the trade deadline, maybe a little before that. I am in no way a Bandwagon fan. I am a hockey fan, my team sucked after the reg. season and I have watched almost every single playoff game leading up to the cup(which has 2 teams I could care less about)

I'm routing for 7games....who cares who wins!!!!

I guess BOB is just sick of the speds in here???

  10. I miss him, too even if he does think I'm an idiot college student. And you know I'm here year-round, otherwise I would have peaced long ago when the Sabres floundered their way out of the playoff race.

  11. I'm still a bit perplexed on the sudden decision by Bob to leave this section but whats decided is decided.  We're kind of like a community here so when one decides to run away from home, you'd want to know why.  Hope everything is alright with him.

As for my activity.....i'm probably gonna stick around until the draft (one of my favorite NHL events) and then disappear for a bit.  Maybe drop by from time to time...but thats usually how its been in the past.

  12. I'm not proud of it, but I've been around since Day One.

    I need a life.....

  13. There are a significant amount of new trolls popping up in here. Yes Bring Bob Back. Please no more Hamilton questions. Leave the dead horses alone.

  14. Going to miss Bob.

Joined in April after a longtime lurking, let's see what happens in a busy summer - I cheerlead for the Wings ever since I started paying attention to hockey.

  15. I am new to answers, and because I am a life-long Detroiter (until Feb of this year that is) who has been involved with hockey since 1974 doesnt make me bandwagon, does it?

I would be here more often if time permitted. I work and when I have the time to cheer/talk smack, I will and have done so!

  16. I am, but I also am a bandwagon for the Pens.

  17. Yep.  It is a bummer.  There are very few people on here that I respect.  Yes, I enjoy the laughs and answers I get from everyone, but there some that actually brighten and enlighten my day.  I know that everyone has had a great debate with Bob, and that is what makes him great.  If we all agreed on everything...I sure as heck would not be on here.

  18. I am here all year long I have never left. I am not a quitter I am a Panthers fan

  19. Guess I'm kinda like that store brand ex-lax. Sort of an irregular-regular. However, kinda hard to maintain that Maple Leaf enthusiasm during playoff time for some reason. Thought it best to wait another couple games before deciding which bandwagon to jump on. Don't want to get psoriasis from all the heartaches, doncha know.

  20. Well I am around year round. Try to answer at least one or two questions most of the time. Can't normally watch the games working nights so don't have as much to say. Long story but I'm off work at the time being, so can add a little more. Been a fan of the Penguins for years now. Although will admit some bandwagon in that I got interested when they won the Cups, but hey I was just a teen and just starting to really pay attention to sports.

  21. I'm here consistanly from May-Sept. when I am working. When I am in school I pop in and pop out.

I am a Rangers fan through and through, and I am rooting for Avery to steal the cup and pose with it in Vogue. (IE I don't give a rats a$$ who wins as long as the games are entertaining.)

  22. I plan on being here year round. Even when the NHL isn't playing I play hockey a couple nights a week so I don't see why my online participation would be affected. Not a bandwagon fan of either of the two finalists, I'm a Montreal fan and have been one for many years.

Patrick you're right, no more Hamilton questions, mine is : When is Toronto gonna have a team?

  23. I am still here and I was the next day after the Pens humiliated my Flyers but I'm gravitating more to baseball now.

    Whats your problem with Spaceboy?

  24. I'm not here in the offseason, but i"m certainly NOT a bandwagon fan. I've been a loyal Wings fan since the mid-90's (pre SC wins I might add).

  25. I'm a two sport guy, so I generally gravitate towards the Football (American) section after hockey season. I check the hockey section from time to time, but there aren't a lot of questions coming in during the off season.

I always come back when the NHL season starts back up.

Any chance Bob is going to pull the ol' identity switch? Come back as someone else (kind of like a virtual Buddhist)? Lol

  26. I work year round and therefore will be bored and will have time to troll these questions and express to you the true reasons Detroit is the best team in the country. This is the best place to get up to date hockey news and opinions from actual fans lol.

    Spaceboy is cool!
