  1. No I don't think you should take an infant to Disney land.  What sort of rides is the baby going to ride on?  What sort of foods is the baby going to eat?  What are you going to do when the baby gets cranky?  How are you going to deal with an infant and the heat?  What are you going to do about the sun and the pollution?  Your baby isn't going to remember visiting DisneyLand so why go through the expense and the pain?  Are you willing to spend all of your time there just walking around?

  2. Although it sounds like fun, I would be hesitant for a few different reasons.  1)  It's hot at Disneyland right now.  And pediatricians say no sunblock/sunscreen for first 6 months.  2)  It's way crowded.  Taking your infant out for walks, to Target, wherever is always a good break for both of you, but there are far more people at Disneyland, and it can be overwhelming.  3)  It's loud/overstimulating.  I made a huge mistake of taking my lo to a bowling alley (in-laws birthday - pressure! that I never should have given in to)...but I did and I regret it immensely.  He was way overwhelmed with the noise and everything.  I felt so bad after.  It was also stressful on me which in turn became stressful on my hubby.  Neither of us enjoyed ourselves very much which the lo can pick up on.  Save the money now and make an adventure of it later.  All of you will enjoy it a whole lot more.

  3. We took my 6 week old niece there and it was a little hectic but not bad.  The California Adventure is nice because its not so crowded and you can take the baby on the large ferris wheel.  I say why not and take some pics so when your child grows up he/she will have some cute photos... I believe they have mickey ears for babies if i'm not mistaken?!?!?

  4. I wouldn't heck no!!

I have a one year old and we live 10 minutes from Disneyworld and I am not even taking him there for at least another 2-3 years.

A 4 week old?!!  They know nothing about Disney and someone has to watch them at all times...no rides...and they don't need to be out in the heat (shade, doesn't even matter).

    Sounds pointless to me.

  5. I wouldn't. No one would enjoy it.

  6. Don't bother.  Your baby isn't going to know or care what's going on and you won't have any fun either as you'll have to constantly be taking care of your kid.  Wait until he/she is 6 or 7 and then take them to Disneyland.

  7. As much as I love disneyland, and I go at least twice a year, I would have to say don't do it.  You will be that set of parents that I see every visit, moody with each other, not being able to get on rides together and having to deal with moving around all the people with your stroller.  It won't make for a very magical time, and it might sour you on the whole experience, if your baby was a year or so, I would say sure, because you can take pictures and they are interested in some things, but at 4 weeks, they are just to small, and would much rather be at home snuggling in the blankie.  Good Luck

  8. You may want to talk to your doctor because of the sun rays maybe a problem. I think your baby is too young still for sun block.
