Bring back the side-scrollers!!!?

Question

Hey everyone! Who agree's with me when I say, Video game companies need to bring back side-scrollers!!!!!

Games like Super mario bros., castlevania, Sonic the Hedgehog, heck just about every game on the Super Nintendo, and all the consoles of that generation!

these games were epic! they were some of the greatest games ever! So why won't game company's give them to us?

I want that Side-scrolling platform-jumping 2D action I used to get!

forget realism! I want nostalgia!

Who agree's that they should start making Side-scrollers again? new ones and all that for teh major systems(Wii, PS3, Xbox 360)

-PLEASE DON'T BRING UP WII'S VIRTUAL CONSOLE(it isn't even close to what I'm talking about)

As much as I love sidescrollers (and man, I LOVE sidescrolers)

I just don't think they would sell to the video game community, they've gotten to spoiled

They have re releaqsed a HD version of Bionic commando, and are

currently on palns to release Megaman ( old verison, no HDness)too.

LittleBigPlanet is side scrolling too, and as there is a level maker with it you cna use that to recreate all your old favourites, whihc if they are good enoufgh may eb shared around the world for everyone else to enjoy nad experience.

Its PS3 only, but a great reason to get a Ps3.
