Bring in a new kitten into a household with two other pets?

My friend is trying to give her kitten to a new home because she is moving into a house with 4 boys who are very very mean to animals. I would love to take the kitten, but I already have a 11 year old Cat named Midnight and We just got a puppy named Happy, She has to be like about 1 1/2 years old. How would we go about trying to introduce the kitten into the household? Happy is very umm Happy and Midnight still isnt liking the Dog. It just use to be our Cat and a different dog that grew up together but the dog died a few years ago. We are hoping that if the new kitten and puppy grow up together they'l get along? anyway any ideas? My Midnight is a indoor outdoor cat with no litter box. I have no clue how we are going to do this!

that wont be the best idea so unless you keep the cat in your room it will probably be killed oh and ill take it hahaha just do wat feels right
