Question:

Bringing Liquor Aboard In San Juan?

I've started my voyage at San Juan twice, and I know that their policy does not allow the ship personnel to confiscate liquor. Acutally, they sell it cheaply right as you are boarding.

This time we are sailing from FL, but our first stop is San Juan. Does anyone know if the non-confiscation policy still applies?

  1. I don't know if it applies but I have brought a few bottles on there and never had a problem. I did have them in a back pack and not out in the open. so if they don't ask don't tell!

  2. They will take it in Florida and any stops then give to you the night before they return.

  3. I just got back from San Juan, and packed two bottles and didnt have a problem. Have traveled with most all cruise lines out of Florida, Galveston, Los Angeles, and other places and have never been taken. Good Luck!
