Can you bring a toothbrush and an hairbrush onto a plane?

you'll need to get one of those tiny toothpaste containers tho, anything over 3 ounces will not be allowed on your carry on.

No problem at all, but your toothpaste must be one of those travel size tubes, 3 oz or less.

Yes.  In a carryon that is okay.  Just remember, if you have anything liquid, to include lotion, put it in a zip lock bag.  Otherwise, you can put those in your checked luggage.
