  1. Just bring back all the alcohol and cigars you want to bring back from the D.R. but you may have to pay a bit of duty on them.

  2. Canadians might be more sensible, but in the USA, if you're not old enough to possess something, we take it from you. Can a 17-year-old legally possess tobacco and alcohol? That's your answer. Maybe someone from Revenue Canada has a better answer.

  3. Under 18? = no cigars and no alcohol, not here in the Dominican and not in your country.

    Anyway enjoy your stay!

  4. Unfortunately you are underage and won't be allowed any  alcohol or tobacco products.  Check the site below for regulations.

  5. Well as you can probably already tell by my name I'm Dominican so I've been there and back a bunch of times and every single time I bring back (to the U.S.) quite a bit of alcohol and never had a problem !... I've never bother bringing tobacco cause i dont really care for it.... the biggest problem i see is your age, I'm not sure how flexible they are in Canada but I suggest you find out with someone from canada first before you find yourself in deep s**t.... There a huge amount of canadians that travel to Dominican Republic every year, so it shouldn't be hard to find some local advice !

Good Luck, and have fun !!
