Has anyone experienced bringing copied DVDs to the Philippines in and out of the country without problem? I'm talking about copied DVDs from the original Region 1 DVDs (U.S.)

  1. I think it's illegal to bring copied DVDs out of the country.

  2. I think I read a couple of years ago that sometimes, they check baggages for pirated VCDs/DVDs at the Philippine airport. I'm not sure how strict they are though.

  3. I brought a copy of DVD's from Bahrain to the Philippines and there was no problem with it.

  4. The only problem I encountered when I brought 1 suitcase of original DVDs is the excess baggage fee. Other than that, there was no problem. They never even checked the contents of the suitcase.

But take note mine was all original...

  5. i did bring copied dvd's and vcd's in and out of the Philippines and Australia. i thought they would be strict when it comes to that but i was wrong.

i also brought home original copies of dvd's and they didn't check on it.
