Bringing down the house:On page 26,it states that Atlantic City is the largest gambling center WEST of Nevada?

Shouldn't it be East of Nevada. I originally read it last night and just figured I had read it wrong, as I was extremely tired. But today I read it again and it bothers me. The book is Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich (the author went to Harvard too) there has been a recent movie about the book called 21. How could this book be published with such an obvious error?

I read the book and didn't notice this error. I grabbed my copy from the shelf and Atlantic City is not mentioned on page 26, at least in the edition I have (Free Press, 9th printing, New York: Simon and Schuster). There's a lot of comparison between Vegas and Atlantic City in chapter II, but I didn't notice this error.

Simple goofs like this can creep into books when they are reset, and many editors don't proofread carefully. It isn't a spelling error so a spell check program won't catch it. Does it seem to you to invalidate the whole book? Doesn't to me.
