Bringing items back from Japan to the U.S.?

I'm in Japan right now and my mom wants me to bring her some green tea back from the Japan. Yes, I know there is green tea available in the U.S. but I've found some that I know that we don't have back home...

Anyways, I just wanted to know if there was a limit on how much tea or food I could bring back to the U.S. I wanted to bring the tea bags and also ton-katsu sauce that I found here. How much food items can you bring back without getting any fines or having it confiscated.
