  1. It's probably that they are accustomed to this particular brand.  I have a product myself that I very much like.  It is a hair product that is hard to find and I found it in my travel to Curacao. I bought up all they had on the shelf!

Customs anywhere never has problem with these things as long as it is for personal use.  They're used to it.

    Have a fun trip!

  2. MEDICATION AND CONTACT LENSES

If you are taking medication, we recommend that you bring enough medication to last for the entire time that you expect to be in Israel. We also recommend that you pack your medication as part of your carry-on luggage in case your main luggage is delayed. If you have a notable medical condition, please inform us in advance; no one likes surprises, and just remember that this is all for your safety (note: all medical records will be kept strictly confidential).

Try this site it gives lots of info..

  3. If it is still in the package & unopened, you may have to pay VAT. Open each one & remove the cellophane. You won't have any problems if they're opened.

  4. there is a strict tarrif of meds in those countries....my family is from Jordan originall palestine and im saying that Isreal is a curropt and horrible place...the meds are extremely expensive other there....oh yea you will have a heck of a time gettin more then 1 bottle of medicen in

  5. firstly, i cant think of a reason why your friend will ask you to bring that, because its available in israel, (not under the same name, but the same product) in israel medicines are very cheap compared to the usa, medical aid is free.

customs will not give you any problems what so ever if you bring legal medicines into the country

  6. Assuming that you will pack these items among other items in your luggage, traveling with small amounts of Advil should not present a problem. Just don't bring them in carry-on luggage as foreign airlines/airports outside of Israel became picky about liquids, etc. due to that European fiasco a couple of years ago. (El Al doesn't get so excited about such things as they are better than others at picking up on the real terrorists, but they have to go along with the international travel rules that prohibit liquids, medicines, etc.)  If you bring in huge amounts of something, customs might be notified, but this doesn't sound big. Ignore the foreign negative  commenters; your friends probably asked for this migraine medicine because they are accustomed to the specific product and it's not available where they live. It doesn't sound like a tax evasion scam--LOL.

  7. YOU WONT HAVE ANY TROUBLE WHATSOEVER REGARDING DRUGS OVER THE COUNTER  OR EVEN PRESCRIPTION DRUGS  say its  for  your  own  use..and pack it well in a suitcase ...there are good  drugs  over the counter  for  headaches like  rokal but  perhaps  they dont  know ...dont worry  youll get through  customs 100 %

  8. I am not too sure about that, I am from Tonga lol...

But, it is best way to check with El Al (Israeli Airline)? or Israel Airport (Ben-Gurion International Airport?) or maybe there is some informations about medicines on Ben Gurion International Airport website?

Have a safe trip in Israel...

I have been there number of times... its so amazing and beautiful!

    Have a good one...

  9. You shouldn't have trouble in customs especially if you pack them in your check in luggage.  I travel there with excedrin and advil a lot.  There are migraine medications in Israel, but maybe they do not have those brands that they are looking for.
