I married him in May of this year in denmark (civil ceremony at the city hall), and we'll be having wedding ceremony in u.s this month.

he doesn't need visa to enter the country, but only have 3 months to stay without any visa.

please help me, i don't have any clue where to start and which paper work to begin with.

  1. His chances of getting into the US with or without a visa (excluding a spousal visa) are slim as he is married to US citizen he is considered an immigration risk (if you don't tell them it is visa fraud)! I would advise a spousal visa but the exact steps to getting one are different depending on the circumstances. Are you living in Denmark? Are you living in the US? Etc.

    Good Luck!

  2. You can file a petition to give him a visa. the first answerer has it spot on. here is a link to a page of guides that may help you out!

  3. HI there,

    What Do I File?

If you are applying to bring your spouse to the U.S. to live, you will need to file the following with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services:

        * Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, with all required documentation

        * A copy of your birth certificate showing your name, or your U.S. passport

        * If you are a citizen and were not born in the United States, a copy of either

o your Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship or

              o your U.S. passport

        * If you are a lawful permanent resident (LPR), a copy of your alien registration receipt card

        * Two completed and signed G-325A’s (one for you and one for your spouse)

        * A copy of your civil marriage certificate

        * A copy of any divorce decrees, death certificates, or annulment decrees that would show that any previous marriage entered into by you or your spouse was ended legally

        * A color photo of you and one of your spouse (see Form I-130 instructions for photo requirements for details)

See the link below for more info!

    Good luck!
