Okay, if you were to bring your date to a resteraunt and you sat in a booth. Would you sit beside your date, or across and why?

  1. ITS BEST TO SIT ACROSS THAT WAY U COULD START A SMALL CONVERSATION AND THAT WAY SHE GETS TO KNOW U AND U GET TO KNOW HER AND SHE FEELS MORE TRUST IN AND STARTS TALKING TO U MORE.

  2. I minored in s*x therapy, as odd as this trivia is...  It is better to sit across from someone early in a relationship, to make eye contact and make them feel that you are being more attentive.  Plus, you feel more of a need to "look them over" and this gives you the opportunity to do so.  Later in a relationship, you want to sit side by side so that you can touch, hold hands, and bond.  However, you would generally do this on a double date, not so often when it is just the two of you.  That can look a little awkward.  Hope that helps.

  3. the intimacy is great in a booth but definitely sit across from them as the invasion of their personal space on a first date would be uncomfortable

  4. I would think it was kind of odd if we didn't know each other well to have a date side beside me,,but as for a long tem relationship it is so sweet.

  5. I work as a waitress at a place that has booths, and I would say to sit across from your date. Very rarely do people sit side by side. It looks soo unbalanced. Sitting side by side, to me, is trying to show power.

If you sit across from each other, you get to make eye contact without hurting your neck. You get to talk better and hold hands. You get to see her beautiful face or his handsome face.

Definately across from each other. Good luck!!

  6. We usually sit across from one another although I have often thought it would be more fun to sit together

  7. I would sit across from them. I think it is so hard to have a conversation right when you have to keep turning your head to see the person. Plus, I don't know, it just seems weird to sit right next to someone in a booth if the booth isn't full with 4+ people.
