Brisbane; Australia question? (River fire this weekend)?

I understand that the river fire goes for 10 days starting this friday, but is it true that the fireworks will only be this saturday night? or will it be next weekend too?

Yeah it's only the Saturday night. Check it out from the Island Party Boat- you'll be right unde the fireworks and it's a h**l of a lot of fun!

No they arn't, its a one off. The fireworks are just the big, final celebration. Its actually 10 days of special river related events, for example the river feast. Dont forget the F-111 flyby! That rocks!
