Question:

Brisbane Lions what a joke?

They've again managed to waste their opportunities that were easily theirs to take and now they've missed out on the top 8.

We have a very hard run of games till the end of the season now and it's already all over.

  1. Agree with Romper

I think Richmond slamming on a few goals to come from way down at 3/4 time may have had something to do with it!!

Why whinge about Brisbane wasting opportunities? Richmond made an awesome comeback!!

And the Lions have not beaten us for 4 years!!

  2. they are lacking in comunication at the moment

  3. did brissy lose? omg noooooooocarlton can't get into the 8...nooooooo

  4. ok well... firstly.. havent missed out on the 8 yet...

    we r 7th..

depending on the roos v demons game if we do drop out..

and it depends on percentage as well....

    but i agree completely..

if we could win away from home we would be gun but because we can only play well at the gabba.. we r in and out of the 8 like a yoyo...

  5. god, I know, if our house willing them to win could have worked, then it would have!

whats with the extra time?? if it had run out on time, they would have won.  I don't understand!

  6. EAT EM ALIVE

  7. Mate, I think Brisbane along with Collingwood, Adelaide and even Sydney have wasted heaps fo oppurtunities, especially in the past few weeks. A lot of these teams could have broken away from that pack between 6th and 10th on the ladder, but now they have to make the finals the hard way, if they make them at all.

    I feel your pain!

  8. They are wasting all their chancces you know.... They lost to essendon then melbourne then won against the eagles then lost ot richmond by 3 points...... All i gotta say is stand up lions you look like collingwood right now but maybe even worse.

  9. I love the way when a side loses people give no credit to the team who fought back, the lions played like the bears in the last quarter,  i think the ability of the tigers to never give up and slam on 8 gls in the last quarter had plenty to do with the result.

we are one of the lions bogey sides, they haven't beaten us since 2004.

You will do ok if you make the finals, you might win one or two but geelong has the season wrapped up, we won't make the finals, so be happy, at least you will get in,  think any way.

  10. They are definetely not a JOKE, just playing in an extremely competitive and even competition.   Still re building, I would have thought ,  since their 3 successive flags.

  11. **I was shocked when I saw the result this morning.  The last time I'd looked at the score I thought Brisbane were home easily.  They really missed a golden opportunity with Richmond, they had the game won and obviously just let it go.

At least with a few upsets this weekend it'll make the race for the top eight more exciting.**
